where did LULA come from?

LULA was born in the search of the perfect activewear. our founder, Ceren, was looking for the perfect pilates activewear sets that were high performance and top quality. however, the market was forcing her to choose one: either the cute, stylish pieces that weren't performing well or typical black workout clothes that were functional but not stylish.

fashion has evolved a lot but the athletisure apparel was left behind. if you want a good set of workout clothes that will last long, won't pile, won't make you sweat extra, you only have the industry giants as your options who won't offer you much of styling and will probably not align with your values. many of these giants are male-owned, dominating a world of women's wear. this is where we want to step in, LULA is made for women by women. we understand what women need in activewear, what the must-haves are, without compromising good style.

activewear can be fun, colourful, expressive and still functional. you don't have to imagine a plain black legging when you think of top quality workout clothing anymore, think lime green or baby pink, whatever colour expresses your best self. we want you to feel like your best self when you put on LULA. in your journey of becoming her, why should you compromise on your looks? instead, we believe that looking your best is a inseparable component of the vision you have for yourself. the healthiest body, fittest figure, in the best line of clothing is exactly what you deserve and it should be included in your every day practices.

LULA's products were hand picked and tried + tested by our team ruthlessly; we put our products to test by washing them a few times back to back, doing hot pilates in them, running in them, doing cross-fit in them, wearing them for hours and registering each feedback. our founder, Ceren, practices pilates/yoga/strength training every day, so she made sure LULA was going to meet her high standards. the products that failed the tests were immediately sent back and new samples were brought in. the products that passed the testing phase successfully are ready to be shopped on our website. we believe in our products 100% because, we put ourselves in your shoes, acted as a customer and ensured the top quality we could provide to you.

our mission is to give women the best activewear line that is available on earth, functional, high performance and aesthetically pleasing. we believe that women's apparel should be made by women who understand the female body and its needs, by a brand who strives to improve the quality of each workout session for women, not just trying to capitalise on profits.

our designs were made to fit your every day wear, when you walk to your favourite pilates studio, complete your workout, stop by your favourite matcha spot and grab a quick lunch with your friends. LULA was designed to fit your perfect every day routine, always with you, always accompanying you on your journey of becoming your best self. 

we know this is more than just a workout routine. we know what becoming her means to you, what you compromise on, the discipline you've built, the dream body you're achieving, the healthiest form you've achieved, the mental diet you apply. we know the whole journey, because we are in it with you. we are one of you, not separated from you.
